How does the  Instant Hepatitis B test work?

Better2Know’s Instant Hepatitis B test requires a simple blood sample.  Your sample will be collected by an experienced clinician. The test is suitable just 28 days after potential exposure to the virus and is also available as part of our Instant Four and Instant Six screens.

How long do results take?

The test takes 15 minutes to run.

Can both men and women have this test?

Both men and women can have this test. It is the same procedure for everyone.

What happens if the test is reactive?

If your test comes back reactive, then we will take a venous blood sample and send this to the laboratory for further analysis. Your Better2Know doctor will then help you with the next steps that are right for you.
