The Blemish Screen is designed by a panel of sexual health specialists to test for STIs that cause blemishes in the genital region. If you have a lump, wart, blister, rash or other blemish in your genital area, this screen may be the best option for you.
Which infections does the Blemish Screen test for?
The Blemish Screen tests for:
- Syphilis
- Herpes I/II
- HPV (including Genital Warts)
What samples are needed?
The clinician will take two swabs from the infected area. These are sent for analysis to assess whether your symptoms are caused by any of the STIs included in the Blemish Screen.
How will I get my results?
Your results will be made available online as they are returned to us by the laboratory and checked by our medial team. Furthermore, we will call you or send you an email or SMS once they are all ready.
